The Apartment Lounge has been a mainstay of downtown Grand Rapids entertainment for over 35 years. In fact, it is now one of the oldest GLBT establishments in the state of Michigan. Prior to moving in 1988 to its current location at 33 Sheldon NE The Apartment was located on the corner of Monroe and Fulton. It was adjacent to a warehouse that later became the B.O.B. As can be seen from the old and new photos below that corner has certainly changed in the last 18 years.
